Securely links to your bank account
With SkyBudget you can securely link to your bank accounts to import all your transactions so they feed directly into your budget. SkyBudget is completely secure. We use a combination of firewall barriers, encryption techniques and authentication procedures.
Unlimited categories and envelopes
As you set up your budget you can have as many (or as few) budget categories and envelopes as you like. Your budget is also completely editable so you can adjust or refine as your budgeting journey progresses.
Alerts when you're not on track
You will be alerted when your envelopes are not on track so you'll always know if you need to adjust your planning or spending to meet a goal or to avoid an overspend.
Detailed reporting
We provide you with detailed reporting on your spending habits and trends across your whole Budget, Categories and Envelopes. You'll have a complete view of where your money goes from top line results, down to granular detail.
Customisable budget period
Don't be tied to a budget period that doesn't work for you. As you set up your budget with SkyBudget you'll be able to select the budget period that suits you. So if you get paid fortnightly but want to budget monthly - no sweat!
Move balance between envelopes
When the unexpected comes up you can move your cash balance between envelopes. Simply head to your adjust balances screen and move your cash as you need.
Link transactions as transfer
This feature is used in situations such as transferring money between accounts and you DON'T want the transactions categorised to any envelopes. For example, you pay your credit card once a month and have already categorised all your credit card transactions.
Automatically categorises transactions
As you use SkyBudget, your transactions will be automatically categorised. You can also override any automatically categorise transactions but heading to payee rules and creating your new rule. This will override any automatically created rules.
Automatically distributes income
When your pay comes in it will be automatically distributed to fund your envelopes. The amount allocated to each envelope will be enough to cover your required budget.
If you are paid more than expected you will need to allocate the surplus amount. If you are paid less than expected you will need to remove allocated funds from your envelopes.
